Terms and Conditions of Poshtel Arenal

Welcome to Poshtel Arenal. By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. We recommend that you read them carefully before using our website.

1. General Information

Poshtel Arenal is a hospitality establishment dedicated to providing accommodation and tourism-related services. By using our website, you confirm that you are over 18 years of age or have the authorization of a responsible adult to use our services.

 

2. Reservations and Payments

Reservations at Poshtel Arenal can be made through the following methods:

  • Website: Via our official website.
  • Email: Send your reservation request to admin@poshtelarenal.com.
  • WhatsApp: Send a message to our number +506 24799222 to make your reservation.

Payment policy: Individual reservations (up to 3 rooms) must be paid more than 48 hours before 14:00 on the arrival day, otherwise, they will be canceled. Group reservations (more than 3 rooms) must be paid more than 30 days before check-in.

By making a reservation, you agree to the following terms:

  • Payment and Confirmation: Payment must be made using one of the following methods, according to your preference:
    • ONVO Pay payment link
    • SINPE mobile
    • Bank transfer
    • Credit/Debit card form (Payment will be processed via a secure payment system, with the customer’s express authorization when making the reservation. The payment is processed upon confirming the reservation, and the customer authorizes the transaction by completing the payment form. Alternatively, the customer may opt to provide their card details via phone call, where the payment will be securely processed with the customer’s proper authorization).

Important Note: By providing your payment details (either via the form or by phone call), you explicitly authorize the charge for the total reservation amount and agree to the associated charges according to the cancellation and modification policies. In case of modifications or cancellations, applicable charges will be processed in accordance with the policies outlined and the selected payment method.

Once the payment has been processed, your reservation will be confirmed. If the payment is made via bank transfer, you must send the payment receipt to the indicated email to complete the process.

  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made within the timeframes outlined in our cancellation policy. For more details, please refer to the cancellation section of this document.
  • Rates and Prices: Rates are subject to change without prior notice. However, the final price of your reservation will be the price shown at the time of booking, regardless of any subsequent changes to rates.
  • Children’s policy: Children under 6 years old stay for free. Children 6 years old and older are subject to the standard rate and must pay for their stay.

 

3. Standard Cancellation Policy

  • Free cancellation: You can cancel your individual reservation (up to 3 rooms) free of charge up to 48 hours before 14:00 on the day of arrival.
  • Late cancellation: Any cancellation made less than 48 hours before 14:00 on the arrival day will incur a 100% charge of the total reservation amount.
  • No show (No presentation): If you do not show up on the day of arrival, 100% of the total reservation amount will be charged.
  • Modification of reservations: Any modifications to the reservation (such as reducing the number of rooms or guests or changing dates) made 48 hours before the arrival date will not incur a penalty, while modifications made less than 48 hours before 14:00 on the day of arrival will incur a 100% penalty.
  • Early departures: Once checked in, no refunds will be issued for early departures.

 

4. Special Dates Cancellation Policy:

  • Free Cancellation: Reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 7 days before the arrival date.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival date will incur a penalty equal to the total cost of the reservation.
  • No Show: In case of no-show without prior notice, the total cost of the reservation will be charged
  • Modification of reservations: Any modifications to the reservation (such as reducing the number of rooms or guests or changing dates) made 7 days before the arrival date will not incur a penalty, while modifications made less than 7 days before 14:00 on the day of arrival will incur a 100% penalty.

 

5. Group Cancellation Policy

For group reservations (reservations of more than 3 rooms), the cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Free cancellation: Cancellations made more than 30 days before the arrival date will incur no additional charges.
  • Cancellation within 30 days: If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the arrival date, a charge of 25% of the total reservation amount will apply.
  • Cancellation within 22 days or no show (“No show”): If the cancellation is made less than 22 days before the arrival date, or if the group does not show up on the scheduled date, 100% of the total reservation amount will be penalized
  • Modification of reservations: Any modifications to the reservation (such as reducing the number of rooms or guests) made 30 days before the arrival date will incur a 25% penalty, while modifications made 22 days or less before arrival will incur a 100% penalty.
  • Early departures: Once checked in, no refunds will be issued for early departures.

 

6. Refunds

Refund policy: Any type of refund issued will incur transaction fees, as well as charges for card payments or bank transfers.

 

7. General information

Poshtel Arenal does not have private parking. There is street parking available for a fee, and a private parking lot nearby that charges an hourly rate 24/7.

Our rates do not include breakfast. We offer breakfast for an additional $7 per ticket, six days a week.

We have an on-site bar that opens at 14:00 and stays open until late at night, with music.

We kindly ask guests to take care of our facilities. Any damage caused to the property will be the guest’s responsibility, and repair costs may apply.

 

8. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests are required to comply with all rules and regulations of Poshtel Arenal during their stay.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property’s facilities, furniture, or equipment during their stay.
  • Smoking is prohibited inside the rooms or closed areas.

 

9. Privacy Policy

The privacy of our users is important to us. We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using our website, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with this policy.

 

10. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

Poshtel Arenal reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any modifications will take effect once published on the website. We recommend that you periodically review this section to stay informed of any changes.

 

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including texts, images, logos, and graphics, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of any content is prohibited without explicit permission from Poshtel Arenal.
